Judson ISD sent five (5) wrestlers to The Berry Center in Houston this past weekend to compete in the UIL State Wrestling Championships. The following athletes competed.
Judson HS- Samaria Barnett
Wagner HS - Yadhira Lerma
Veterans Memorial HS - Caden Adkison, Torrance Adkins, and Xander Salcido

After a tough first day of competition the following wrestlers made it to day two. Samaria Barnett, Yadhira Lerman, Torrance Adkins, and Xander Salcido.

Judson had three wrestlers finish on the awards podium at the end of the night.

Veterans Memorial HS - Xander Salcido (132lbs) 6th place
Veterans Memorial HS - Torrance Adkins (157lbs) 5th place
Judson HS - Samaria Barnett (165lbs) 2nd place
